About Me
I started by counselling victims of crime for the charitable organisation Victim Support. I graduated from WPF, a leading provider of psychotherapy training in London with a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Psychodynamic Counselling in 2002. This was an extensive training spanning several years, requiring all trainees to undertake personal therapy for the duration of the course. As well as attending theoretical seminars I also counselled a number of regular clients each week under supervision.
After I graduated, I stayed for a number of years as a regular counsellor and assessment counsellor. Later I trained and practised to become a supervisor.
I gained an MA in Psychodynamic Studies in 2005, validated by Roehampton University and graduated from WPF with a Diploma in Supervision in 2008.
Professional Qualifications
As an Accredited member of the BACP I subscribe to their codes of ethics. I continue to develop professionally, undertaking courses and workshops regularly as well as attending ongoing supervision.
